Our Mission Statement
Neighborhood enhancement through housing restoration and blight remediation including establishment of two community gardens. CCS also sponsors the Farmers’ market at Forest Park.
General History
Concerned Citizens for Springfield was formed in 1995 by Forest Park residents and property owners to address blight and run-down housing. Incorporated as a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation, CCS has enjoyed the continuous support of City officials.
